The following are the documents required for obtaining U.S. citizenship at the U.S. Consulate for children with one American parent:
- Passport of the American parent, the original and the copy (and a T.Z. if s/he has one.)
- The Teudat Zehut or the passport of the parent that is not American, original and copy.
- Israeli Birth Certificate of the child, original and copy.
- $100 per child.
- Proof of the American parent’s residence in the United States for 5 years, with at least two of the years from over the age 14.
- Marriage Certificate, original and copy
- A form to translate the marriage certificate and the birth certificate.
- Form DS-2029

The presence of the American parent and children is mandatory.
Documents Required for a Passport:
- Form DS-11
- 2 pictures sized 5×5 with a white background
- $105
- The presence of both parents and the child for whom the passport is required.
- Form ss5 for social security number [after receiving citizenship]
Please bring in two copies of every required document.
